Using GSM cell phones to make calls to open barrier gates and retractable gates

My name is Sean LiU I had a client who needed to be able to turn on a barrier gate by making a phone call, and we implemented this feature. It can be used to open barrier gates and retractable gates, among other security devices. He has an app with English interface. to set up whitelist and blacklist.

We have realized the following function: using the phone to dial the number of the barrier gate equipment, it will automatically open the barrier gate, and after the vehicle passes by, it will automatically land the barrier gate.

This usually requires the use of a remote control system such as a GSM remote control switch or an Internet of Things (IoT) smart controller.
The basic principles are as follows:

GSM Gate Opener

1. Device function
   GSM controller (supports SIM card)
   Barrier gate control system (can receive switch signal)
   Administrator number configuration
2. Principle of operation
   The user dials the bound control number (usually a GSM module installed in the barrier gate system).
   The GSM module recognizes the incoming number and automatically answers or hangs up if the number is in the authorized list.
   The GSM module sends a command to open the gate (e.g. a short-circuit signal or command code).
   The barrier gate receives the signal and opens, allowing vehicles or pedestrians to pass. (Optional) SMS or notification feedback to confirm that the barrier gate is open.
3. Applicable Scenarios
   Community, company parking lot: without remote control or card, the owner/employee can open the gate by dialing the phone directly from the cell phone.
   Unattended places: such as warehouses, construction sites, etc., the manager can remotely authorize the opening of the gate.
   Visitor mode: some systems can support one-time password or SMS authorization to temporarily open access rights.
4. Other Extended Functions
   Cloud management: Combined with APP or Web terminal, you can view the record of gate opening in real time and manage the authorization remotely.
   Blacklist management: You can set up to allow only specific numbers to open gates to prevent unauthorized people from accessing.
